You are a good mommy today because...

...you are undoubtedly not the mommy who taught these young children ignorance and hatred.
So pat yourself on the back no matter what kind of day it was for you today, then hope there are enough of us mommies out there trying to teach our kids love, tolerance and acceptance to outnumber those who continue to selfishly foster ignorance and bigotry.

Children are NOT born this way.

Seriously? People have time to go to rallies? I mean, the bigotry aside, they have time to stand around for an entire day and yell at people? Seriously? I can't even get 15 minutes to return my library books.

Maybe the mom was like "Look, Cletus, just take the kids to the rally. I have a crap load of things to do today. This Stars 'n' Bars flag is not going to wash itself. And I need to get the scuff marks out of the tile from the goose-stepping. I can't believe that you and your friends don't take off your boots before you go down to the basement. It is just rude. The Japanese all take their shoes off. And the Jews--say what you will, but they don't make their wives iron their hoods and robes at THE LAST MINUTE. Oh Yes, you ARE taking Ava and Jefferson Davis and little Adolfa with you--I can't get the chores done with them yelling "Heil" at me all the time and threatening to report me to the committee for wanting to have sausages for dinner. And having to cut their sandwiches into swastikas. Cheese and crackers, they are getting on my nerves! Just take them with you. Make them hold the flag or something."

I was going to write about how disgusted this photo made me feel (and not just because they are wearing 80's acid wash tie die), but la yen has me laughing too hard.

La-yen is a crack up.
This reminds me of lamb and lynx, okay, the names alone ought to be a clue!
And I heard on the news that a high school in Alabama just this year decided to combine proms, up til now they were having separate proms...one for blacks and one for whites....what in the holy hell is still going on?

*sobbing* I just canNOT believe it. That poor 12 year old's face... This is what Matthew was talking about in La Biblia. "But whoso shall offend one of these little ones which believe in me, it were better for him that a millstone were hanged about his neck, and that he were drowned in the septh of the sea." When the Greek says that "offend" means to "cause to stumble." There is NO EXCUSE!!!
